Noch dazu ist der Bus super g\u00fcnstig. Ein 7-Tages-Ticket kostet ca. 21 Euro. Die sogenannten \u201eeCabs\u201c sind die Uber von Malta. Wollt ihr auf Malta mit dem Taxi unterwegs sein, ladet euch am besten die <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.ecabsmobileapplication&amp;hl=gsw&amp;pli=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201eeCab\u201c<\/a> App herunter. F\u00fcr den Bus gibt es die <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.ecabsmobileapplication&amp;hl=gsw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tallinja<\/a> App. Eine weitere super Fortbewegung auf Malta sind die unz\u00e4hligen F\u00e4hren. Zum Beispiel f\u00e4hrt von Sliema alle 30 Minuten eine F\u00e4hre in die Hauptstadt Valletta (Preis Hin- + Retourfahrt: EUR 2,80 \u2013 Stand Sommer 2022).<br \/>Wer schnell und flexibel auf Malta unterwegs sein m\u00f6chte, kann sich \u2013 so wie wir \u2013 ein Mietauto direkt am Flughafen ausleihen. Wir haben einen Kleinwagen f\u00fcr ca. 40 Euro pro Tag gebucht, welchen wir direkt am Flughafen in Malta abholen konnten. Achtung, auf Malta herrscht Linksverkehr! Die Stra\u00dfen sind teilweise sehr eng und holprig und Parkpl\u00e4tze am Hafen und in der Stadt oft Mangelware. Achtet deshalb darauf, dass euer Hotel Parkpl\u00e4tze zur Verf\u00fcgung stellt. Direkt am Hafen starten die diversen Ausflugsboote sowie die F\u00e4hre nach Valletta (Fahrtzeit ca. 10 Minuten). Gerade wenn man kein Mietauto hat, kommt man von Sliema mit den Booten oder dem Bus \u00fcberall hin.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element Den Hafen von wo die gesamten F\u00e4hren und Busse starten, erreicht man schon in weniger als 10 Gehminuten. Da es auf Malta besonders im Sommer sehr hei\u00df werden kann und Malta nicht unbedingt f\u00fcr die sch\u00f6nsten Sandstr\u00e4nde bekannt ist, empfiehlt sich eine Unterkunft mit Pool zu buchen um sich nach einem erlebnisreichen Ausflug noch einmal entspannen und abk\u00fchlen zu k\u00f6nnen. Unser Hotel hatte einen wundersch\u00f6nen Rooftop-Pool mit Terrasse und lecker Cocktails. Hier f\u00fchren unz\u00e4hlige kleine s\u00fc\u00dfe Gassen durch die Sandsteinbauten.<\/p><p>Tipp: Jeden Tag um 12 Uhr mittags wird eine Kanone im Upper Barrakka Garden abgeschossen. Der Kanonenschuss diente fr\u00fcher den Seeleuten um die exakte Zeit anzugeben.<\/p><p>Valletta erwacht abends erst so richtig zum Leben und verspr\u00fcht durch die unz\u00e4hligen gem\u00fctlichen Restaurants und Bars sowie den vielen verwinkelten Gassen, welche mit bunten Lichterketten geschm\u00fcckt sind, einen romantischen und einzigartigen Flair. Das Essen ist einmalig lecker und die Gastfreundschaft der Malteser sehr gro\u00df! Wir haben die lauen Sommerabende in Valletta sehr genossen und sind mit der F\u00e4hre so gut wie jeden Abend gekommen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div Die Blue Lagoon liegt auf der unbewohnten Nachbarinsel Comino. Im Hafen von Sliema gibt es unz\u00e4hlige Anbieter (Tagesausfl\u00fcge, Hop-on-hop-off Boot inkl. Insel Gozo, F\u00e4hren, etc.), welche euch zum Traumstrand von Malta bringen. Ich empfehle euch, so fr\u00fch wie m\u00f6glich zu der Lagune zu fahren, da es bereits vormittags sehr voll wird! \u00d6ffentliche WC-Anlagen sowie Food Trucks stehen am Strand zur Verf\u00fcgung.<br \/>Das Wasser in der flach abfallenden Lagune ist wirklich t\u00fcrkis und glasklar. Ein Traumpanorama mit Karibikfeeling pur! Trotz Menschenmassen muss man die Lagune auf jeden Fall gesehen haben.<\/p><p><strong>Tipp 1:<\/strong> ein Spaziergang entlang der Klippen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Hier geht es etwas ruhiger zu als auf der Hauptinsel. Von Valletta gibt es regelm\u00e4\u00dfig F\u00e4hren nach Gozo (Fahrdauer 45 Minuten). Die Insel l\u00e4sst sich gut mit dem Bus erkunden. Da wir einen Mietwagen hatten, haben wir die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gozochannel.com\/ferry\/schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Autof\u00e4hre<\/a> ab Cirkewwa (Fahrtzeit ca. 20 Minuten) genommen. Der lange goldgelbe Sandstrand eignet sich perfekt zum Baden. Das Wasser ist klar und flachabfallend. Liegest\u00fchle, Sonnenschirme sind vor Ort zu mieten. Valletta verspr\u00fcht abends einen einzigartigen Flair und ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Die Landschaft ist gerade im Sommer von Trockenheit geplagt und wenig abwechslungsreich. Das Leben spielt sich deutlich an den sch\u00f6nen K\u00fcstenorten ab. Generell ist Malta meiner Meinung nach eine Mischung aus verschiedenen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern und Inseln. Spanisches Balearen-Feeling trifft auf italienische K\u00f6stlichkeiten mit K\u00fcsten welche an die portugiesische Algarve erinnern. Da meine Reiselust nie gestillt ist, bin ich immer wieder auf der Suche nach neuen Reisezielen und Abenteuern. Vor allem tropische L\u00e4nder haben es mir angetan.
